The human body consists not only of the physical body that can be seen every day with the naked eye, but it also comprises the nonphysical one that actually has an enormous influence on our daily lives.
In the nonphysical body, there are particular central points that serve to create and organize energy in order to synergize with the physical one, which consciously or not, are used altogether to move, think, and perform other activities. These certain points are called chakras. The word 'chakra' is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning 'wheel'; but perhaps even a better translation would be 'spinning wheel'. Chakra is the energy center that spins, moves, and is always active in producing an electromagnetic field of the human body, a field of subtle; light, multilayered, luminous radiation surrounding a person like a halo that is known as an aura. Although not everyone can see the aura without the aid of advanced technology, some people can feel it. If you have ever straightaway disliked someone without knowing why – or vice versa, instantly connected with them – it is because you feel the energy that you are both radiating. Some people give off negative vibes, and others positive.
Nevertheless, despite all of this explanation, there is one thing we need to always keep in mind, I suspect that you probably have not thought about this : the largest generated energy that exists in the human body is on their minds and desires - and this is associated to what will be discussed and examined in this project. Enjoy!

Traditional Textile : Sidemen Songket
Songket is one of Indonesian traditional woven fabric with the main material of silk or cotton is equipped with the use of gold/silver thread to make motifs on the fabric which are usually quite complicated. Each region has its own distinctive pattern and characteristics, including Songket from Bali, more specifically from Sidemen Village, Bali. Songket Sidemen is produced in Sidemen Village and made with ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin). Songket has a beautiful motif and very rare; which is actually a combination of geometric lines and the shape of Balinese natural ornaments such as; such as leaves, flowers, certain carvings, and so on. Sidemen Songket used in this collection is made specifically in order to synergize with existing concepts. The background is broken white with a silver lotus flower that spreads on the surface of the fabric as its motive.
According to the beliefs of the Balinese people, the lotus flower has a special meaning in which meaning is closely related to beauty, fertility, prosperity, spirituality, and immortality. The lotus grows from dull, muddy, and muddy water, but it produces an extraordinarily beautiful flower. "It always looks clean and pure over a dirty pool." - it is considered an interpretation of the resurrection of darkness and reborn with high aesthetic value. It is also representative of the quality of wisdom and spiritual enlightenment in a person.
It is remarkable how interesting the symbolism of the lotus flower is comprehensively connected with the energy in the human body. It has been found that each chakra symbol contains a number of lotus petals, the number of flower petals shows the level of the frequency of the chakra vibration and determines the color of the energy field radiated from within the human body. The higher the number of petals, the smoother the vibration of the frequency.
Monumental Textile : A Classical Labyrinth
Monumental textiles are textiles that are created or re-created creatively with the aim of enhancing the beauty of the textiles themselves to add high-value art elements. Especially for this collection, monumental textiles are inspired by a classical labyrinth.
A labyrinth is not a maze. A maze is a puzzle that needs to be solved. It has a lot of twists that result in deadlock. To enter and exit the correct path in a maze requires method, logic, and analysis. A labyrinth has only one path. It is unicursal and has no dead end. Labyrinth involves vision, intuition, and creativity. The entrance of the labyrinth is the solution. A labyrinth is an ancient symbol associated with wholeness which is a merging of images of circles and spirals in a winding but purposeful path. It is made for the purpose of personal and psychological transformation. It is a metaphor on the journey to one's deepest center of self to come back out into the world with a wider understanding of who they really are.
“THE POINT OF A MAZE IS TO FIND ITS CENTER. THE POINT OF A LABYRINTH IS TO FIND YOUR CENTER.”
There is a strong correlation between the seven major chakras in the human body and seven paths in the labyrinth. Traveling in seven classical labyrinth circuits is deeply associated with the state of a person's chakra, because every time you walk in a labyrinth for a variety of reasons; may seek an intellectual balance, a self-awareness opening, a deeper connection to yourself, or something else. Some will find answers to long-asked questions, or broader creativity, or a sense of wholeness, and so on. It can be concluded that by walking in a labyrinth, one will have a more open mind, a bigger heart, and a calmer body.
