The "INTERSECTION" Collection at Jakarta Fashion Week 2019

The IMME Spring/Summer 2020 collection, "INTERSECTION", marks a significant milestone in our journey, merging two distinct cultural influences into one harmonious collection. This collection seamlessly blends the boldness of Western street style with the elegance of traditional Eastern aesthetics, offering a fresh perspective on fashion that transcends borders.

IMME's "INTERSECTION" collection was created with the intention to celebrate the fusion of different cultures while maintaining a clean and sophisticated approach to design. Drawing inspiration from Western street style, the collection incorporates minimalist color palettes, unexpected silhouettes, and textured fabrics. In contrast, Eastern influences are captured through draping techniques, asymmetrical cuts, and references to Indonesian heritage. This synergy results in a collection that embodies freedom of expression and a global, traveling spirit. The selection of materials for this collection goes beyond just aesthetics—comfort and wearability were key considerations in every piece. The collection was designed to ensure that each garment not only looks beautiful but also feels effortless and versatile for any occasion.

The IMME Spring / Summer 2020 collection "INTERSECTION" was showcased at Jakarta Fashion Week 2020 on the 24th of October 2019.

Presented at Jakarta Fashion Week 2020 on October 24, 2019, "INTERSECTION" was more than just a fashion show. It was a celebration of cultural exchange and a statement about the beauty found in the meeting of East and West. The carefully curated color palette, which includes neutral tones like broken white and nude, was selected based on a survey of the most popular colors in urban areas. These colors are timeless and versatile, allowing the collection to appeal to a wide audience and enabling individuals to easily mix and match the pieces with their existing wardrobes.

"As a designer, I am committed to creating innovative, marketable pieces that resonate with the modern consumer. My goal is to continue expanding the global reach of Indonesian fashion, offering works that are not only relevant to today’s trends but also respectful of tradition."
