What started as a spontaneous Sunday afternoon project quickly became a revelation that connected deeply with IMME's core vision of creativity and individuality. Our creative director, Imme Kristiani, ventured into the world of resin art during quarantine, experimenting with dried flowers and resin to create something unique and personal. Little did we know, this simple exploration would reveal a striking parallel to the creative process that defines our fashion designs.
Resin, with its fluidity and versatility, is much like the design process we follow at IMME—shaping, molding, and transforming raw materials into something extraordinary. Just as resin can be colored, poured, and shaped into unique forms, fashion at IMME is about taking fabric, texture, and color, and molding them into wearable art that tells a story.
In this project, we documented the process of creating resin artwork, not as a collaboration, but as an artistic exploration that surprisingly aligns with our brand’s essence. The tactile nature of resin, its capacity to be molded into personal and imaginative creations, mirrors the process of crafting fashion pieces that express the wearer’s individuality and creativity.
This tutorial captures the simplicity and joy of experimenting with resin, offering insight into how creativity flows in unexpected ways—just like the fashion pieces we create. Whether you’re looking to try something new or gain inspiration for your own work, we hope this project encourages you to see creativity everywhere, just as we do at IMME.
